  Start of the Great Tribulation will be announced soon

  at the 2021 annual meeting, samuel herd revealed new light and claimed the anointed will all have passed away before armageddon.

  it has since been revealed that while they will die before armageddon, there will be some anointed still around that will witness the start of the great tribulation.. so the question is, how many years until the existing members of the governing body have passed away?.

  im not a doctor, but based on their age and various stages of obesity, im thinking 10- 15 years- give or take, sounds about right.. with that in mind, the great tribulation could be announced any day.. the new understanding has now freed the org from the burden of having to identify a particular generation in relation to the date of armageddon.

  yep--the annointed will have died before armageddon. Any still alive then will be proven to be non genuine.

  i’m still a good christian.

  i still believe the bible.. i don’t like the wt society, but some of the people, as individuals are good.

  there are many nasty jws also.. i have concerns about current events and how close the end actually is.

  i'm not a christian--not in the least interested in the bible..god..jesus..angels etc. All poppycock. Grew up as a JW--left when i was a married man with pregnant wife when i realised i couldnt maintain the religious sham any more.

  Would a JW accused to be a murderer (in a judicial committee) be reported to the police?

  i am wondering if a jw accused to be a murderer (or any other serious crime except csa) in a judicial committee would be reported to the police.. if i sexually abused or molested a child, i would not be reported to the police.. what about if i killed a person: would i be instead?.

  it is not a matter of being right or wrong but i am only curious to know if there is at least a sort of coherence regarding the internal policies for serious crimes....

  i would imagine the watchtower would prefer the murderer to be disfellowshipped before being reported for the crime. That way they can say he/she is not a jw.

  What have you forgotten you ever even knew?

  at a certain point, as the years tick by, you start to realize that you have forgotten a lot of things.

  typically, something you learned, some knowledge or skill you used to have, that you just haven't used for so long you no longer remember anything but that you once knew it.. i saw an article about electrical resistors the other day, and how the colored bands signify the rating.

  now all i remember is that i used to know it, and that resistors do something with, erm, electricity ...

  hi everyone i’m a pimo elder ex bethelite and pioneer who has been having doubts for many years.

  as of late i’ve come to have even more doubts mainly due to the gb pushing the vaccines and acting like salesman for big pharma companies .

  i will never take these vaccines even if it meant i couldn’t go to the hall as was previously said but the gb have done a big u turn on this now.

  Are the rocks and mountains in Revelation 6:16 symbolic?

  on a recent jw.org video update joel dellinger makes thr case that the phrase " they keep saying to the mountains and to the rocks: “fall over us" in revelation 6:16 is a reference to symbolic mountain like organisation at the time of the end.what do you think?.

  Awake Magazine - No Longer Being Printed?

  someone made reference in another post that the awake magazine had ceased publication.

  maybe i missed it since i have not been on here as much in the last 6 months.

  History repeated: pre-1975 trend of selling homes to ‘downsize’

  i saw this thread on reddit.

  i think the reason for this is that the 1975 fiasco is never mentioned in the jw religion.

  nobody mentioned it to me when i came in the years after.. the problem with this is that all the sad stories were never told (or hushed up) of people who sold off homes, etc.

  Efforts were made to get me back in the fold in 1974. The bro nearest to me--in age and distance--offered to give me a sort of refresher course. He visited me a couple of times, and the conversation got round to 1975. He told me he had bought a newer car on credit--because he would never have to pay it off. This isnt heresay--he told me himself. I declined any further visits..1975 came and went..i'm still alive, and the last i heard of him he was a circuit servant.
